According to foreign media reports, Zhuhai Yinlong New Energy Co., Ltd. ("Zhuhai Yinlong New Energy Co Ltd") has proposed a pilot project for electric cars and electric buses in Amritsar, India. An electric vehicle manufacturing plant is planned to be established in Punjab, India.

The company will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Punjab government through ZTEsoft Technologies. The CEO of Zhuhai Yinlong India brought a representative to Punjab, India, and met with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. In a statement on July 3, the Office of the Chief Minister mentioned that “Zhuhai Yinlong plans to launch a pilot project to operate electric vehicles and buses in Amritsar, followed by Jalandhar and The city of Ludhiana is unfolding and plans to build an electric vehicle manufacturing plant here."

To promote such new energy vehicles, Li told Amarinder Singh that the company plans to launch several pilot models to familiarize local users with these products during commuting (commuting to and from work). Amarinder Singh said that he will help Zhuhai Yinlong to build a factory in the local area. Singh said that Indian industry giants such as Mahindras, Tata and Ambanis have contacted the Punjab government to invest in the project.
