Guangdong Zhonglong Transportation Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel LED Tunnel Light Project won the Best Technology Innovation Award in the “2010 LED Lighting China Selection Campaign†jointly sponsored by Gaogong LED and Zhongzhao Association Semiconductor Lighting Professional Committee. The award ceremony was successfully held in Shenzhen Qingqing World on the evening of December 17, 2010.
It is reported that the selection activity is the longest and most influential LED industry. The activity lasted for three months and was patrolled in 12 key cities across the country. The 500 upstream and downstream LED companies were surveyed and nominated for recommendation. Netizen vote, market assessment, expert review, and finally selected 12 person awards, 12 corporate awards, 15 product and technology awards, a total of 39 awards.
It is understood that the Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel is the only way to enter and exit the Shanghai World Expo Park. With a total length of 25.5 kilometers, it is the longest and widest tunnel in the world with LED lighting. The project undertaken by Zhonglong Transportation is based on the concept of “LED green light source illuminationâ€, coupled with the intelligentization of the system, providing a new model for the intelligent application of green lighting in special tunnels in the future.
Chen Bin, general manager of Zhonglong Transportation, said at the 2010 LED Lighting China Awards Ceremony that "We have already completed the Yangtze River Tunnel. We are doing the Qingdao Tunnel. For us, we hope that all the longest and widest tunnels will be made by us. Because we have the strength to provide the longest and widest tunnel lighting solution."
