LG Innotet announces the world's first "Handrail UV LED Sterilizer" that uses the powerful light of UV (ultraviolet rays) LEDs to perfectly remove bacteria from the escalator's armrests.

The product destroys bacterial DNA with UV LED light at 278 nanometers (nm) wavelength, blocking infection from the source. It does not use chemicals or heavy metals at all, and it is harmless to the human body.
In addition, the installation of the product is very simple. There is no need to change the original equipment, and a half-size sterilizer of A4 paper can be attached to the front of the handrail. After the escalator is started, the sterilizer also runs immediately.
