LG 2016 Smart TV will bring some new features through software updates. Recently, the company announced that they will release their 2016 version of the smart TV at CES next month in Las Vegas. The new series will be equipped with an upgraded version 3.0 WebOS software.

"Channel Advisor" can provide programs that users like most and show information about new programs. "Multi-View" allows users to watch two different sources of content at the same time, such as two channels. The new "music player" application can play music through the TV speakers without the user having to turn on the TV. Another feature called “Channel Plus†can display TV channels and online programs in a single list, and users can easily switch between Internet TV and live programs.
Can existing LG smart TVs upgrade WebOS 3.0? LG did not specify this. A spokesperson for the company said that they plan to launch the 2016 version of Smart TV in the first quarter of 2016.
