The IEC will form a series of luminaire performance standards. The standard series number is IEC/PAS62722. There are two draft standards in the current luminaire performance standard series, namely "IEC/PAS62722-1: luminaire performance - Part 1: General requirements" and " IEC/PAS62722-2-1: Luminaire Performance - Part 2-1: Special Requirements for LED Luminaires, with the drafting and release of these two standards, there will be a major breakthrough in the performance standards of lamps, with the application and development of standards, The IEC62722 standard series will be as well known as the IEC60598 series of standards.

In order to standardize the performance of domestic lighting products as soon as possible, the National Lighting Standardization Technical Committee Lighting Subcommittee has reported the national standard development plan for the above two standards.
