In recent years, Chinese LED companies have made great achievements in overseas markets. However, if we look closely, we will find that these overseas companies have not really “goed outâ€. Because most of our LED companies are entering the overseas market in the form of “branding†or “generation processingâ€, the enterprises that actually enter the overseas market with their own brands can be said to be few and far between, which is very rare.
As China's economic development enters a new normal, the driving force of economic development is increasingly dependent on innovation, and the importance of intellectual property protection and innovation in economic development is gradually being highlighted.
It is foreseeable that in the future, the era of gaining market share through the "price war" approach like the domestic market will be gone forever. With intellectual property as the mainstay and relying on innovation and development as the driving force, it will become the new normal of future competition.
In the lighting industry, compared with the rest of the world, from the perspective of the number of appearance patents, there is no doubt that China's ancient towns have an absolute advantage. When it is worthy of recognition, it should also reflect on whether a paper certificate can resist the plagiarism. The direction of hard work is not only the design ability, but whether this figure can represent the difficulty of defending rights and activate the enthusiasm of enterprise innovation.
In 2017, the number of patent litigation cases in the LED industry has increased. Among them, domestic and foreign companies such as Japan Yahua, Yiguang and Seoul Semiconductor have been making efforts in the patent battlefield.
