However, some people think that many manufacturers will focus on large-size crystal rods, resulting in a decrease in the production of 2-inch sapphire crystal rods, resulting in an increase in prices.

Zhang Xiangxin, director of the domestic business unit of Suzhou Haibo Crystal, said that the continuous rise of this round is also determined by the relationship between supply and demand. Nowadays, the MOCVD equipment operating rate of LED upstream chip companies has gradually increased, and many MOCVD equipments that were previously expanded by many chip factories have been commissioned and put into use. In addition, non-LED sapphire products have begun to increase steadily in terms of shipments in the fields of window panels and watch lenses.

In addition to the above reasons, the former sapphire market is in the doldrums. Many companies have chosen to buy crystal rods rather than produce them themselves.
