Ballast identification method

     Ballasts sold in the market can be described as dazzling, especially in ballasts in integrated fluorescent lamps. How to distinguish its authenticity and advantages and disadvantages, the following aspects are available for reference:

1) Price: Inductive is the cheapest; high-frequency high-end is the most expensive, high-frequency low-grade is the second; double-pressure is again, but slightly higher than inductive.

2) Appearance: Inductive type is large and is iron-packed; high-frequency type is slightly smaller, adopts semi-closed plastic case, and has many heat dissipation holes on the case; the double-pressure type is small in size, mostly plastic-sealed.

3) Weight: Inductive bulky; high frequency type is lighter; double voltage type is light and small.

4) Internal structure: Inductive type consists of iron core coil; high frequency type consists of transistor, electrolytic capacitor, high frequency inductor, etc.; double voltage type consists only of diode and film capacitor.

5) Glowing: Inductive type always flashes 2~3 times before it can illuminate; high frequency type delay 0.4~1s can ignite once; double pressure type instantly ignites, belongs to cold start or hard start Will destroy the filament emitting material.

6) Brightness: Inductive type has stroboscopic (50Hz) ; high frequency type has no stroboscopic; double voltage type is dark due to insufficient lamp current.

7) Sound: Inductive type has electromagnetic hum; high frequency type has super audio, but can't hear; double voltage type has DC 1 power, no hum.

8) Calorific value: Inductive lamp temperature is high; high frequency type is about half lower than the former; double voltage type lamp has low temperature, and its wire contains built-in resistance wire for ballast, which converts electric energy into heat.

9) Input voltage and current: the product is apparent power, the inductive type is about 2 times of the rated power; the high frequency and low power factor is about 1.5 times of the rated power; the high frequency and high power factor is rated. The power is about 1.1 times; the voltage double is lower than the rated power.

10) Input power factor: inductive type is 0.4~0.6 ; high frequency low level is about 0.6~0.8 .
