This is a pleasing conceptual design created by industrial designer Keita Ogawa and won the bronze medal in the 22th Koizumi International Student Lighting Design Competition. Each bulb looks like it melts because of use. The goal is to use this interesting design to remind people that there is no need to waste energy to destroy our beautiful world.
The light bulb shown below is a real LED lava lamp, but it is not currently available.
