Aiming at the influence of temperature/humidity on ammunition storage and the drawbacks of traditional ammunition storage temperature and humidity monitoring system, an intelligent monitoring system was designed by using SHTl5 intelligent sensor. The structural principle and software design of the system were analyzed.

1 Introduction

Ammunition is mainly stored in the warehouse from the factory to the combat or training use. In the long-term storage process, the ammunition is in a macroscopic still state. But its quality is constantly changing. This is because ammunition is mainly composed of metal and charge. During long-term storage, due to the effects of temperature and humidity. The metal will rust. Thereby the strength of the metal part is lowered. Surface mechanical properties deteriorate, seriously affecting the use of ammunition. It can even cause a major accident. Temperature and humidity also change the physical and chemical properties of the ammunition charge. So that it loses its required technical skills. Therefore, temperature and humidity are the main contradictions in the quality of ammunition. According to the warehouse conditions of our army, China's climatic conditions and the current management level of the warehouse. Usually the maximum temperature is not more than 30 ° C. The maximum humidity does not exceed. 70%. This is commonly referred to as the "Sanqi" line.

The monitoring system of the traditional ammunition warehouse uses a dry, wet bulb hygrometer, a hair hygrometer, a humidity sensitive resistor or a monitoring system consisting of ordinary temperature and humidity sensors. The structure is usually complicated. The system is huge. Poor accuracy. The author uses the SHTl5 ultra-small, self-calibrating, multi-function smart sensor from Sensirion. It measures the relative humidity, temperature and dew point parameters, and is suitable for the design of the ammunition warehouse temperature and humidity intelligent monitoring system.

2 SHTl5 performance and features

The SHT15 sensor is a single-chip, multi-purpose smart sensor that includes not only a miniature relative humidity sensor based on a humidity sensitive capacitor but also a miniature temperature sensor based on a bandgap circuit, as well as a 14-bit A/D converter and 2-wire string. Line interface. It can output serial data of calibrated relative humidity and temperature, so the multiplexer, A/D converter and signal conditioning circuit required by traditional design are no longer used in the system. The system structure is compact and simple, SHTl5 can be in the same The position measures relative humidity and temperature. Its internal structure is shown in Figure 1.

The resolution is 0.03%, the highest precision is +2% RH, and the temperature measurement range is -40 ° C - 10 123.8 ° C. The resolution is 0.1 °C. The power supply voltage range is +2.5V to +5.5V. The response time is less than 3s.
