At the MWC in Barcelona, Adobe demonstrated a VR advertising project based on the Primetime platform.
This project is currently in the prototype stage and is the result of Adobe's research laboratory. In an interview with foreign media Variety, Campbell Foster, director of product management at Adobe Primetime, said that they can offer publishers similar solutions for the next 6-12 months.
This VR advertising project is mainly to watch 2D videos in a VR environment, and then implant advertisements in a virtual scene around the user. Similar to what Netflix, HBO, and Hulu provide in VR heads, such as Gear VR and Daydream View.

For example, in Coca-Cola's interstitial ad, the entire theater is surrounded by it. An ad unit may contain a set of card information, which provides additional information about the product, a coupon, and the user may even push within the application.

Foster said they prefer to focus on mobile VR instead of high-end heads-up or AR technology.
